Sylvia Kruse Cauter earned her degree from Concordia College, Moorehead MN.  She began teaching in Oakland California and later moved to Poulsbo, WA.  She began teaching North Kitsap High School in 1994.

Since coming to North Kitsap High School she has grown the program to include 6 Choirs who have won numerous awards. Students under her guidance have gone on to win many titles and Local and State Competitions.  She tours with the choirs every year which is a highlight for the students.

If you ask the students about Choir they will tell you it is more than a class.  Mrs. Cauter teaches you to believe in yourself and choir is a family, where everyone belongs.
